Position: Privacy Consultant

What do we do?
We advise startups, growth companies, tech unicorns and leading enterprises from a variety of industries on privacy and data protection. We help them deal with regulatory challenges, serve as their Data Protection Officer, create operational processes and solutions for them, manage their privacy documentation, conduct employee and management training, support them in relationships with their customers, vendors and users, and help them protect the privacy of us all.

What will you do?
The Privacy Consultant will work independently as a specialist, consulting clients on privacy and regulatory matters, and create and manage their ongoing privacy compliance program. Among others, you will:

Manage your own portfolio of clients in collaboration with other PrivacyTeam members;

Build processes and procedures for better managing privacy and data protection matters across our clients' organizations, including for managing their vendors, raising and maintaining awareness among staff members, and simplifying privacy compliance through all departments and teams;

Incorporate regulatory, technological, product, marketing and business aspects to find the best privacy-oriented solutions for your clients;

Explore and research angles of global privacy regulations and connect them to the innovative products and services our clients provide to their customers, finding creative and simple solutions to complex challenges;

Read and write professional content, draft privacy and data protection documents, take part in international negotiations and hop on transatlantic conference calls;

Frequently engage and interact with fascinating individuals who have invented world-changing solutions;

Have an opportunity to impact amazing products, services and processes – and ultimately the privacy of millions around the world.
Who are we looking for?
The ideal candidate will have experience as a legal counsel or compliance specialist (preferably in or for the tech sector), practicing international privacy or tech law, drafting data processing addenda and privacy policies, and providing clients or colleagues expert advice on relevant topics (privacy, intellectual property, tech and the like).

The Privacy Consultant knows how to go well beyond the legal realm, with in-depth understanding of the client’s products and services, in order to provide the most suitable and practical solution.
Are you:

An experienced privacy counsel, legal advisor or compliance specialist?

Independent, enterprising, scholarly, responsible, kind and fun to work with?

Absolutely proficient in English and Hebrew, with a talent for concise and accurate writing (without syntax errors or grammar mistakes), and the ability to hold long conversations in both languages - with team members, clients and foreign partners?

Our office is located in the Alon Towers in Tel Aviv - within walking distance to the HaShalom train station and other major transportation routes. Most of our clients are in the Merkaz area, but there is a great deal of flexibility to meet our team members’ needs - in the scope of the job, in the location (you can partially work from home and from time to time even abroad) and sometimes even hours.
